How to Create a Stylish Yet Festive Photo Book Cover

With our helpful hints and tips, you’ll have your CEWE PHOTOBOOK looking spectacularly festive in next to no time. Read on and discover new ways to emboss your cover with Highlights, switch up your layouts and spotlight those special photos.

Make the Main Details Shine

Pick out a few key elements on your cover to give an added premium touch. Scale up the size of your titles or Clipart and add our metallic or gloss Highlights for a high-impact cover that your recipient won’t be able to resist showing off! Here, we’ve used Courier PS font in size 172pt with gold Highlights.

Our Highlights are available in gold, silver, gloss or the brand-new rose gold option. We love to adorn our Christmas photo books with a festive gold for a luxurious seasonal look. To add Highlights in the Creator Software, select the element you’d like to emboss and choose the Highlights option along the top toolbar.

Tile Up with Smaller Photos and Text

Small square photos on the cover of your CEWE PHOTOBOOK will give you an overall glimpse of the top moments and memories that are featured within. You could also create coloured tile blocks to use for titles, clip art and text elements to complete the photo collage look.

Let Your Photo Take Centre Stage

Select a special snap to spotlight on your front cover and place your photograph over the entire cover page. To do this in the Creator Software, just right click on your image and select the ‘Use as Background’ option to automatically fill the page.

If you would like to add a title to your Christmas photo book, it’s a good idea to find a spot in your image that is as monochrome as possible. Look for blocks of colour and empty spaces where your text will look right at home. Add your title here and decorate with any clip art to suit your style, and there you have it! Minimalist but premium at the same time.
